Karen Jones is an experienced piano instructor with more than 20 years of teaching. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Piano Pedagogy and a Master’s degree in Piano Performance. She has had the privilege of teaching students of all ages and skill levels—from beginners taking their first steps at the piano to advanced students pursuing serious musical study. Her teaching approach is tailored to each individual, recognizing that every student has unique interests, goals, and ways of learning.
At the heart of Karen’s teaching philosophy is the belief that learning piano should be both meaningful and enjoyable. She encourages her students to embrace the process of practice, develop confidence in their abilities, and experience the satisfaction of seeing their hard work come to life through music.
In addition to teaching, Karen has extensive experience as an accompanist and has performed with a variety of musicians for recitals and other performances. Although classically trained, she enjoys playing and exploring many different musical styles.
Outside the studio, Karen enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and thrifting. She also continues to nurture her lifelong love of piano, always seeking opportunities to grow as a musician and share the beauty of music with others.
